Zoho Analytics, built around your questions

Business intelligence from Zoho: data from your Zoho apps and everything else, turned into reports and dashboards your team will actually read. We are Zoho partners who set it up and build the dashboards with you.

Result for: What is Zoho Analytics?

Zoho Analytics is Zoho's business intelligence software. It pulls data from your Zoho apps, databases, files and other cloud tools, blends it, and turns it into reports and dashboards you can share, schedule and embed. Its assistant, Zia, answers questions about your data in plain language.

Figure 1 · how a dashboard comes together

Five apps, one dashboard

  1. 01 · Connect

    Bring the data in.

Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, your online store, ad platforms and a spreadsheet. Zoho apps sync on their own; the rest import on a schedule.

  2. 02 · Clean

Fix it before it is charted.

Correct types, merge duplicates and reshape columns with the built-in data preparation.

  3. 03 · Blend

    Join what belongs together.

Link tables by the keys they share, so a deal, its invoice and its order become one row you can analyze.

  4. 04 · Visualize

    Drag fields into charts.

Bar, line, pivot, KPI widgets, Sankey and maps, laid out on a dashboard by people who do not write code.

  5. 05 · Ask

    Let Zia explain it.

Ask in plain language, or let Zia describe what changed across the whole dashboard and forecast what comes next.

  6. 06 · Share

    Put it where people look.

Email it on a schedule, embed it in your portal, or trigger an action when a number crosses a line.

Zoho Analytics or Power BI?

Both turn data into dashboards. Which one fits depends on where your data and your people already live.

Zoho Analytics fits when

  • Most of your data is already in Zoho apps, which sync without extra setup
  • You want one plan that includes users, data and the AI assistant
  • Business users should build their own reports without a data team
  • You want to give clients a branded portal with their own dashboards

Power BI fits when

  • Your company is standardized on Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • You have analysts who model data in DAX and live in Excel
  • Your main sources are Microsoft databases and SharePoint
  • IT already manages Microsoft licensing for everyone

Or both. Zoho Analytics' BI Fabric can feed Power BI and Tableau, so a Microsoft-first company can still model its Zoho data in Zoho.

Looking for Zoho Reports? It is the same product: Zoho Reports was renamed Zoho Analytics. Old guides about Zoho Reports still mostly apply.

What we build with Zoho Analytics

A dashboard is only as good as the data model under it. Most of our work happens there, before the first chart.

  • The data model

Zoho apps and outside sources joined correctly, with clean keys, so numbers match what finance sees.

  • Dashboards by role

Sales pipeline, cash and receivables, stock and orders, support load. One screen each, built with the people who use it.

  • SQL query tables

The calculations a drag-and-drop chart cannot do: cohorts, margins, running totals, period comparisons.

  • Imports that keep running

Scheduled imports and syncs that do not quietly fail. Why scheduled imports fail.

  • Data from your Creator apps

Custom apps in Zoho Creator pushing their records in through Deluge and the API.

  • Portals and training

Client-facing dashboards under your brand, and a team that can build the next report alone, in English or Spanish.

Questions about Zoho Analytics

What is Zoho Analytics?

Zoho Analytics is Zoho's business intelligence and reporting software. It pulls data from Zoho apps, databases, files and other cloud tools, blends it, and turns it into reports and dashboards that can be shared, scheduled and embedded, with an AI assistant, Zia, that answers questions in plain language.

How much does Zoho Analytics cost?

There is a free plan for 2 users and 10,000 rows. Paid plans, in US list prices per month: Basic $24 billed yearly or $30 monthly (2 users, 0.5 million rows), Standard $48 or $60 (5 users, 1 million rows), Premium $115 or $145 (15 users, 5 million rows) and Enterprise $455 or $575 (50 users, 50 million rows).

Is there a free version of Zoho Analytics?

Yes. The free plan allows 2 users, 10,000 rows of data and 5 workspaces, with unlimited reports and dashboards. Paid plans can be tried free for 15 days.

Is Zoho Reports the same as Zoho Analytics?

Yes. Zoho Reports was renamed Zoho Analytics. It is the same product, with many features added since the change.

Should I use Zoho Analytics or Power BI?

Zoho Analytics fits best when most of your data lives in Zoho apps and business users build their own reports. Power BI fits best when your company is standardized on Microsoft. Zoho's BI Fabric can also feed Power BI and Tableau, so some companies use both.

Can I use SQL or Python in Zoho Analytics?

Yes. Query tables are written in SQL, and since version 6 there is a Python Code Studio and AutoML for building your own models.

How often does Zoho Analytics sync data?

Zoho apps connect natively. Scheduled syncs depend on the plan: once a day on Basic, up to 8 times a day on Standard and Premium, and up to 24 times a day on Enterprise.

Does Zoho Analytics work with Zoho CRM and Zoho Books?

Yes. Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Desk, Zoho Inventory and other Zoho apps connect natively, with ready-made reports you can start from and edit.

Is there an on-premise version?

Yes. Zoho Analytics On-Premise runs on your own servers and is priced separately by Zoho.

Do I need a Zoho Analytics consultant?

Not to build a first dashboard from one Zoho app. A specialist pays off when data comes from several systems, when numbers must match finance exactly, or when you need SQL, embedded client portals or automations.
